Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South
Located a short distance from Amsterdam Zuid Station, Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South is a modern, comfortable hotel. It has spacious wheelchair friendly rooms and a notable music theme due to its location on the George Gershwinlaan. The hotel also hosts social events like ‘Sip & Paint’ on Sundays at De Japanner and Thursday jazz nights at the Manhattan Lounge Bar. There’s even a soundproof karaoke room! De Japanner, where breakfast and dinner are served, has tables at a range of heights. Breakfast is a self-service buffet. Please ask a member of staff for help if you need assistance with the buffet. The doors leading to De Japanner are always open at breakfast time, but may be closed later in the day. Wheelchair users may need to ask for assistance to open the manual doors, as they are quite heavy.
Step-free access to outdoor terrace
There are six wheelchair-friendly conference rooms. Some of these rooms can be combined to create an even larger conference space
The outdoor terrace near conference rooms is not accessible as there is an approx. 5 cm threshold
Wheelchair-friendly Executive Lounge, where guests with a Club Room category can relax and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks. Please note the Executive Lounge does not have an accessible toilet (the nearest is in the lobby)
The business centre and fitness centre are wheelchair-friendly. The fitness centre door is quite heavy, but inside there is adequate space to manoeuvre in a wheelchair
Parking & Public Transportation
The hotel has an underground parking garage (not directly affiliated with the hotel) at Q Park Symphony, with over 500 parking spaces and a maximum car height of 2.00 m. There are no disabled parking spaces in this parking garage near the entrance of the hotel, however many parking spaces near the entrance are often empty with a considerable amount of space to manoeuvre.
Public transportation is nearby (350 metres) at Amsterdam Zuid Station.
